Bishop Battle Star Chess Tournament
Come join us at for our fourth annual Bishop Battle Star Chess Tournament. This is a K-12 tournament. Individual trophies and team trophies will be awarded and will be dependent on number of participants per grade level or section with minimum of 1st through 3rd place presented per grade level or section. There will be U800 and Open divisions for Grades K-6, depending on number of participants. Each participant will play five rounds using the Swiss Sys pairing system (S, C, O tiebreaks). It is unfair and disrespectful to all involved (tournament staff and students) if participants are selective of which rounds to compete.

PSD student registration is free as this is a PSD chess sponsored event, but still register early through your PSD School’s chess club coach as there is limited space! Entry fee is $12 postmarked by February 15, 2019. The entry fee increases to $18 February 16 – February 22, 2019. After February 23, the entry fee is $25/player for late registration. However, we expect registration will fill and close so please register early and pay timely.
